Humbly leading with vision.
Meet Our CtK Staff
A native Hoosier, Pastor Caroline went to seminary in Minnesota, interned in Southern California, and served congregations in the Chicagoland area for nearly twenty-three years. Pastor Caroline is, as she puts it, “very Lutheran.” She is a third generation Pastor Satre and is married to Pastor Brad Davick, whose father was a pastor. As senior pastor, she has an eye for detail but a holistic vision of CtK’s mission to love and serve the world. When away from church, Caroline enjoys world travel, hanging out at the lake, and spending family time with Pastor Brad and daughter Ellie.
Dr. Hillary Doerries has served as Director of Music Ministries at Christ the King since May 2013. She received her undergraduate and graduate musical training at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. In December 2022, she earned her Doctor of Pastoral Music (D.P.M.) degree through the Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University. In her position, Dr. Doerries finds the most joy when she is engaging in ministry with others. She is excited for CtK’s blossoming mental health ministry and looks forward to helping others find hope and healing through music & worship, support groups, and other ministries of care.
In addition to her official capacity of coordinating community and global mission, Jill also finds joy in connecting people and in bringing ideas to life; you will frequently find her doing all of that at CtK. She appreciates the dedication and passion that CtK members display as they donate their time and resources to the community, and she enjoys serving the world through her work at CtK. When away from the church, Jill enjoys being with her family (husband Chad, son Jensen, and daughters Ava and Maryn), camping, hiking, and walking her dog, Mischief.
Sarah coordinates Christian education programs for children from birth through 5th grade and assists in the selection and scheduling of classes and other learning activities for adults of all ages. She also oversees a range of special events focused on intergenerational fellowship and learning. Sarah and her family (husband Eric and daughters Lucy and Kate) joined CtK in 2017 after relocating to Granger from Indianapolis.
Peggy received her nursing degree and graduated from Notre Dame with a master’s degree in not-for-profit business. She worked as a nurse for 36 years and ended her professional career project-managing clinical application installations at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. She uses these organizational skills as CtK Office Manager. While not at church, Peggy enjoys following her grandchildren’s activities, birding, playing the piano, and loving her many cats. In addition to managing the church office, Peggy enjoys playing keyboard for Xalt!, interacting with its people, and keeping the church running smoothly.
Jeff has been a member of CtK for his entire adult life. In his role as Business Manager, he is responsible for the day-to-day financial operations of the congregation. As an engineer in the aerospace industry, Jeff enjoys working the numbers. He is grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside the outstanding staff and council at CtK. Jeff uses his time away from work to enjoy his wonderful family, travel and participate in numerous outdoor activities.
