Worship
Intergenerational Fellowship and Connection with God
Sunday worship is the center of our week at Christ the King Lutheran Church. During this time, we gather as a community. Our goals for worship are to:
- Come together as Christ’s people
- Sing, share scripture, and express art that uplifts God
- Connect as people in genuine ways, so we can support one another in all life’s ups and downs
- Learn and teach from our experiences with God and scripture

Virtual
Traditional Worship
Our traditional services focus on the rich tradition of Lutheran hymnody and liturgy. These gatherings aim to create an intergenerational experience that taps into the faith traditions that have formed us as a people.
Traditional worship at CtK includes organ and piano pieces, choral works, and plenty of opportunities for congregational singing.
Traditional worship services are offered in person at 8:15 am and 11:15 am each Sunday.
Contemporary Worship
Ways of worshiping have changed throughout the years, and they continue to evolve today.
Contemporary worship at Christ the King Lutheran uses these powerful new ways to praise God and connect us together. Recently written songs and modern instrumentation are interwoven with the central elements of the Lutheran liturgy.
Our contemporary worship service is offered in person at 9:30 am each Sunday.
Virtual Worship
Christ the King offers two virtual service options for those who wish to worship with us but cannot attend in person:
- Contemporary worship streams live at 9:30 am
- Traditional worship streams live at 11:15 am
Both services can be viewed live on our website on Sunday mornings, or watched anytime during the week that follows.
If you’d like to catch up on past services, you can do so by visiting our Worship on the Web YouTube playlist.
