Senior Suds

Born from Word & Table, CtK is partnering with Clay Food Pantry, the St. Joseph County Health Department, and Burton’s Laundry to host Senior Suds, a program that offers free laundry services for seniors every other Tuesday. While registered seniors are washing their clothes, they are able to order food from Clay Food Pantry, talk with staff from Oak Street Health, and receive a meal to eat. Volunteers are needed to make sack lunches prior to each laundry day, and two volunteers are needed at the laundromat during each Senior Suds event to connect with the guests and give them the sack lunches.  Sign up below:
